Vehicles - Issue Potentially Solved

Model T Ford Truck

Based on a suggestion from Mericánach I have given a look over at the Reviresco site.  Buried within their World War One range (how did they know there would be a World War Two when they called it World War One?...let's call it The Great War as it should be) are several choice vehicles in 1/72nd scale.  Of course, having not lived in Ireland during the 1920s, I have no idea what vehicles might have been used there, but there are some that definitely look the part.

Crossley Tender

Some ideas are the Crossley Tender, the various Model T Ford trucks, the Thornycroft Type J Lorry, and/or a Rolls Royce armored car.  The 1/72nd scale kits are not too expensive, ranging from $8.50 to $15.00.  Reviresco's service seems to be rated highly as well, based on the comments from The Miniatures Page.  I will be ordering a vehicle or two soon.  I will probably stay away from the armored cars for now, since the rules do not cover motor conveyances let alone conveyances with armor.  Needless to say I'll have to write up some modifications for vehicles, but that shouldn't be too difficult.  A truck is a truck is a truck after all, just a question of scaling movement and carrying capacities.

So, there you have it, finding vehicles in scale with 20mm figures has been made a lot easier with the Reviresco line!
